I had the Louisiana crab cakes with fries and also tried my friend’s crawfish etoufee. So delicious!!! Our server’s name was Deanne and she was great. She knew the menu and was very personable. She also gave us recommendations for where to go out in NOLA, I’d definitely go here again!!

TONI J., NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA

I recently became a vegetarian. I went to this place expecting to get a glass of water and maybe a side salad(I was invited to dine with someone). I was shocked to see a vegan option on the menu! I ordered it thinking it was not going to be a good dish, but boy was I wrong! The taste was delicious! Our server Ponce was super friendly, and attentive. He went out of his way to make our dining experience a good one.

BARBARA D., BELOIT, WISCONSIN

We went for breakfast and I ordered a shrimp and crawfish omelette with crawfish sauce. It was the best omelette I think I’ve ever had. I washed it down with a delicious bloody mary that was also quite tasty. The food was hot when it arrived, the drinks were strong and the attitude of the staff and service was professional and super friendly. Their courtyard is beautiful and we wished we had sat out there this sunny morning.

GLEN R., HEMINGWAY, SOUTH CAROLINA

My husband was craving a steak so we did some searching and found this restaurant with a 20 Oz. steak! It delivered! The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the decor was in true New Orleans style! If you visit you have to get the banana foster ice cream cake – Simply Divine!

JANICE S., WEBSTER, TEXAS

This was our last place to eat before leaving and we were not disappointed. I had a wonderful etoufee pasta dish and my hubby had a nice steak, smothered in crawfish etoufee. The atmosphere is very quaint and typical old NOLA, the waitstaff were excellent, especially our waitress Kathleen. You must try this one when in NOLA.

TARA. R, DAYTON, OHIO

My husband and I were in New Orleans for a work conference of mine. We’ve heard all about the po boys and were told they are a must try. We walked all around Bourbon St and around the French Quarter and came across Oceana. First impression was great, it was clean, and the atmosphere was laid back. Jacob, our waiter, did a fantastic job. Constantly making sure we were taken care of. He made drink recommendations based off what we liked. He took the time to sit and ask us questions about what we’ve enjoyed about New Orleans so far and what we haven’t. This was one of the highlights of our entire trip. And the po boy lived up to the reviews! It was delicious! Thanks Jacob for the wonderful service!

CHUCK T., NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE

Locals steered us here and it was so great. We went twice in 2 days. First visit we had a party of 12 people, all ages, every single staff member was super nice and helpful. Even with a large party for a crowded midday brunch, they were unfazed. The breakfast was amazing, every item we had was great! The Crepes, the Omelettes, eggs, oysters, cajun appetizers, bloody marys, coffee, etc. All of it was fantastic. Especially the omelettes and crepes, which is what they are known for. Second visit was a party of 4, we sat outside, had a great vibe. Great sandwiches and salads. I will go back and would definitely recommend this place to others. 5 stars for sure.

My group stopped at Oceana on a last minute whim because it was raining and it was the closest restaurant to us. At first we were a little apprehensive, but as soon as our server came we knew we had found a good place. Our server, Errol, was Fabulous! He was knowledgeable about the food, and had the friendliest personality. He even sang a bit for us when we told him he sounded like Barry White. The food was excellent, and his suggestions to us were spot on. I highly recommend anyone visiting New Orleans to stop in and have a meal at Oceana, You won’t be disappointed. I have been to NOLA a dozen times and always eat at my 2 favorite restaurants; but from now on I will be eating at my 3 favorite, with Oceana being on the top of my list.

DIANA H., SUMMERVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA

My husband and I selected to dine at Oceana our first night in New Orleans as it was next door to our hotel. After that night, we decided to dine there every night of our trip, as well as go for breakfast one morning! We had a great waitstaff(Michelle, Cole, Darrick, Brandon, and Mike). We could not have been more pleased with their service and all they recommended. Not only was our wait staff great, but the executive chef came to our table to inquire as to our food and service. We also had numerous other wonderful conversations with other staff members. If you are looking for really great food and really great service, this is the place to come.

VANESSA A., LOS ALTOS, CALIFORNIA

My family and I had a great meal at Oceana after our Uber driver recommended it. I’m so glad he did, because the place it great! I had the shrimp po boy, my husband had the oyster po boy, and my daughters had the jambalaya pasta and shrimp creole. Everyone loved their dishes. We capped off the meal with two very big banana fosters for dessert. What a great way to end our day! Oh, and the price is perfect for the quality of food! I would definitely recommend this place for family and friends alike.

BRANDON F., WHITEFISH, MONTANA

We arrived at our hotel at 10PM, checked in, and headed to the concierge to find a good restaurant still serving dinner. He recommended Oceana Grill, and off we went because they are open until 1AM. We had the shrimp po boy and catfish platter and of course a couple hurricanes. Everything was absolutely delicious, the waitstaff friendly and attentive, and the place itself was a wonderful experience. Best catfish we’ve ever had.

ROXANNE R., BISMARCK, NORTH DAKOTA

We were here our last day in the city and had an excellent experience. Errol was our waiter and he was very friendly, as was everyone when we would walk through the restaurant. The french toast my son had, which I tried, was so good! My seafood omelette was great as well – only wish we had found this place sooner!” Mandi T., Los Angeles, California, “We come to Oceana Grill every time we are in NOLA! We always get the crab cakes with their amazing crawfish and mushroom cream sauce on top and a caesar salad and their Oceana oysters that are chargrilled to perfection with a delicious sauce on them as well. My husband got their redfish special which was served over chicken and sausage jambalaya with fried crawfish which was incredible. Today we got the bananas foster cake topped with strawberries, caramel, and chocolate sauce with whipped cream! So good! CJ, our server, did a wonderful job and really took great care of us! He was fabulous!

HOLLY H., LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

I believe I have consumed half of the menu in just only two days and my mouth couldn’t be happier. Every bite was truly a taste of New Orleans. The culture and flavor of the city is expressed perfectly in the food here. I recommend everything! Blackened gator bites, catfish po boy, jambalaya, gumbo, crawfish etouffee, the list goes on and on, you can’t go wrong! One of the only spots in the quarter that we could find serving a full menu late night. For day time dining, there is an adorable outdoor courtyard with tables shaded by umbrellas. The staff was amazing, very friendly, and attentive. I will make it a point to go back every time I visit this amazing city and I suggest you do too!

KAYLEE B., BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS

We came to New Orleans for our honeymoon and stopped in Oceana’s for lunch and man it was awesome! Great food, and great service by our water Errol! He was helpful in ordering and also gave us advice on other things to see and do while we were there! Great experience all around! I had the chicken fettuccini Alfredo with fried crawfish tails, it was delicious! Definitely will go again our next time in New Orleans.

CIARA B., MILIPITAS, CALIFORNIA

We returned for the third year in a row and the service and food at Oceana continue to be superb! I’d recommend for any seafood lover!

FRANK U., DETROIT, MICHIGAN

We were looking for a good place to share Easter lunch with some friends, and I am happy with our choice! The menu is varied, if you aren’t into seafood there are many other choices. The service is wonderful! We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. If dessert is something you look forward to…Look-out! Fantastic!

MARY C., HUNTINGTON, PENNSYLVANIA

Awesome bloody mary’s and Oceana Oysters are perfection! Ask for Jacob, great service to go with great food! Love the atmosphere!

JUAN S., JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA

Came to New Orleans for a basketball game, but wanted to try some authentic seafood. I picked Oceana Grill on Bourbon Street. The food was great, but what knocked me out of the park was our server, Errol! Errol attended to us constantly to make sure everything was great, his refills were fast and suggestions were great! I would come back just for Errol.
